Falconstar nodded and walked out of the den. In a loud voice, he called:
"May all cats old enough to catch their food report to the AutumnHole immediately."
One by one, cats from all over trodded to the area where
an array of colorful leaves blew in the wind

"Sparrowfeather will be the new deputy."
He beckoned Sparrowfeather to come

Falconstar raised his head.
"Although I said who would be deupty the wrong way, I'll say it again. Try to act
surprised."
The clan snickered.
"The time has come to name WingClan's new deputy. I say these words before StarClan, that the spirits of our ancestors, wherever it may be, and approve my choice.
Sparrowfeather will be the new deputy of WingClan."
He smiled at Sparrowfeather, who was obviously flustered at this long deputy
inaguration.

Falconstar stole a quick glance at Shiningwish, who had her eyes glued to Sparrowfeather.

She whispered something in his ear, that to Falconstar sounded like,
"you have to say something now."

They were all happy for him, although some were more ecstatic than others.
