I think she always tries to do the right thing, but fate interferes--a lot. And she is a tad self-centered and selfish, but it only makes her seem more realistic.

I've always liked Shay better- she seemed more real to me, somehow. She and Tally never wound up as friends.... I think she was too easily changed and manipulated. I love stuff like that. However, I was all for Tally in Specials- I lurve the Specialmind....
