My friend says that everyone in Twilight is a Mary Sue/ Gary Stu (a.k.a. a perfect character). She said that Jacob is one too, and i want to kno how.

Well... it's like a perfect love triangle. In the love triangles, in the end,
The man/woman who is rejected is usually either killed off, or falls in love with someone else.
Well... that did happen (the latter one), so I kinda get it.

Our friend has absolutly no right to judge, especially not Jacob--she only read the FIRST BOOK! He was barely in it!!
As for the sparkly thing, does that REALLY make a perfect character?!
And I know a lot of people think Bella is perfect, but she reminds me of myself in so many ways, and if I'm a Mary-Sue, I'm also coordinated, a hobo, and only speak in Japanese.

Nonono, Mary-Sue's normally have fake-flaws to make them seem 'real'. Like clumsiness, for one. And before this turns into an argument with guns a-blazin'- THIS IS JUST MY OPINION.

And... as for the sparkly thing... it just IRKS me. Vampire's don't sparkle and fall in love with normal people. They suck blood, burn, and scare the heck outta me..... That just seems the way it should be.

Well, I personally love switching things up, especially steriotypes. Like Peeps (the best vampire book EVER). It's about vampires, but it's caused by parasites that spread...well, yeah. It's absolutly awesome--or fawesome. And if you think I'm crazy for saying "fawesome", than you need this book and it's companion novel, the last days, even more!

Yes, Peeps IS the best vampire book ever. I mean, Scott-la looked at vampirism in a whole new (well, new as a far as I can tell) way, and even put some humor in there.
