The Battle

War Cries,
Claws,
Screeching,

They all fill my ears,

I try to cover them, cowering in fear,
My white pelt shining in the moonlight,
I'm shaking, I let out a whimper
Suddenly, I'm flying downhill, feeling like I'm

Clanmates all around me, rush home, victory cries fill the air,
No one notices a small kit sneaking back towards the nursery,

Nobody except my mother.
